At Frontierland, you will discover Splash Mountain, amoung one of the great rides Disney has to offer in Magic Kingdom. A log flume ride you will not want to miss. As you enter, you'll proceed through the chronicle of Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear. There are over 100 animatronics and you'll undergo a series of unforeseen bends before engaging the final 50 foot drop into the thorny briar patch beneath. After the ride why not grab one of those delicious turkey legs. Then visit the shooting gallery. Don't forget to watch the Country Bear Jamboree, where you will have animatronic bears sing their favorite country tunes.
Next cut across a wooden board bridge and find yourself in Adventureland. This is a fun and diverse part of Magic Kingdom. Here you find the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The unbelievable detail constructed into every animatronic pirate with their facial gestures, clothing and all.
You can sing along, duck flying bullets, transit jails and transit through the marketplace with Captain Jack Sparrow. Next up, the Jungle Cruise. You will tour four different continents and see Cambodian tigers, head-shrinkers, hippos, ancient ruins and plenty more from your swampboat.

Character Greetings at Magic Kingdom
Besides the park’s attractions the Magic Kingdom has a host of other options including a assortment of shows, dining choices, and character greetings. The shows vary, but most days they include parades, fireworks, and Disney characters playacting for you. For dining choices of breakfast, lunch,or dinner you have a range of complete sit down meals to fast food. Character greetings for the kids and some adults, are personal encounters with the Disney characters. You will see all your favorites including the Disney Princesses, Villains and even the classics, Minnie, Mickey, Donald and Goofy.

Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom
As you stroll down Main Street you will be hearing the ""opening credits" as the Disneyworld imagineers like to address them. Here you will find the castle. To the right is Tomorrowland. This portion of the Magic Kingdom was fashioned to appear like the future, as 1920s science fiction authors conceived it. It is here you will find Space Mountain. A fast-moving inside roller coaster and hands down is the most popular attraction at the park.
Other things kids will enjoy are Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin that places you dab smack in the midst of an arcade game. One of the oldest Disney rides, the Carousel of Progress will leave all you parents in awe. Children as well will enjoy the adjoining Mickey's Toon Town Fair, where they are able to ascend through cartoon replica houses and also ride the mini roller coaster Goofy's Barnstormer.

Lands of Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World literally glitters with magic and illusion, but the Magic Kingdom Park is positively the most exceptional component of the Disney World complex. Although many cite the full Disney resort as the Magic Kingdom, in actuality, there is one exceptional theme park that bears the name.
The Disney Magic Kingdom was the first park to open at the Orlando, Florida Disney World in 1971. It was moulded after the original Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California bragging of new and improved attractions, a bigger castle and so much more. Once the park opened everyone joked that the old Disneyland Park could fit in Disney World's parking area.

Magic Kingdom Park
Would you believe when The Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 in Orlando Florida and that the price of the Magic Kingdom tickets were only $4.95. Today your looking at around $70. At the same time there were only 2 Disney resort hotels. They were Contemporary Resort and Polynesian Resort. The thing that amazed everyone was how the monorail runs through the Contemporary Resort lobby.
Magic Kingdom adopts it's design from Disneyland California. You're start begins on Main Street. Cinderella's Castle predominates your parorama view. As you walk down the Main Street you do not have any idea that the buildings are not life-size. Disney applies a process of changed perception to produce the illusion. Guests are oblivious that the upper stories of the buildings are not full size. Cinderella's Castle standing at 189 feet tall looks taller than it really is due to the design of the castle itself and the size of the buildings on Main Street.
