Frontierland and Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom

At Frontierland, you will discover Splash Mountain, amoung one of the great rides Disney has to offer in Magic Kingdom. A log flume ride you will not want to miss. As you enter, you'll proceed through the chronicle of Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear. There are over 100 animatronics and you'll undergo a series of unforeseen bends before engaging the final 50 foot drop into the thorny briar patch beneath. After the ride why not grab one of those delicious turkey legs. Then visit the shooting gallery. Don't forget to watch the Country Bear Jamboree, where you will have animatronic bears sing their favorite country tunes.

Next cut across a wooden board bridge and find yourself in Adventureland. This is a fun and diverse part of Magic Kingdom. Here you find the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The unbelievable detail constructed into every animatronic pirate with their facial gestures, clothing and all.

You can sing along, duck flying bullets, transit jails and transit through the marketplace with Captain Jack Sparrow. Next up, the Jungle Cruise. You will tour four different continents and see Cambodian tigers, head-shrinkers, hippos, ancient ruins and plenty more from your swampboat.

Backstage Tours at the Magic Kingdom

For those who wish to do something different when they visit Disney's Magic Kingdom you might want to consider signing up for an extra special look at the Kingdom with one of the backstage tours. Here guests discover a lot of well-kept secrets about how the park functions and runs so smoothly. If you have children it is recommended to attend Disney's Family Magic Tour. One of the highlights includes an interactive scavenger hunt in different areas of the park.

Should everyone in your party be over the age of 16, Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour makes a superb selection. Here you will learn all about the history of the Park and what made Walt Disney believe, including his imaginations, schools of thought and unbelievable accomplishments.

Character Greetings at Magic Kingdom

Besides the park’s attractions the Magic Kingdom has a host of other options including a assortment of shows, dining choices, and character greetings. The shows vary, but most days they include parades, fireworks, and Disney characters playacting for you.
